Guest Speaker:
Since the theme of our dinner this year will be “Irish Royalty,” former KTVN reporter/anchor Erin Breen will do a presentation on Irish Castles many much of the material taken from her Erin’s Isle Podcast.

Congratulations to Ralph McMullen and Marli Reinheimer, who were unanimously selected by our members at our February general meeting for Irish Persons of The Year.

Oki’s Bar & Grille owner Cindy Pisiewski is the recipient of this year’s Golden Harp Award, which is bestowed upon a business that has been supportive of our organization.

Kirk Holden is the recipient of this year’s Hugh Lantz Award. This award is named after one of our late past presidents who served in the military and gave much of his time and resources to community service including our local Celtic Community. Our board unanimously selected Kirk and believes he lives up to the spirit of this award for his 25 years of service as a deputy in the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office and his current deployment overseas in the U.S Army which prevents him for being present to receive it that night. Kirk and his family spent numerous Saturdays last summer clearing brush and making improvements to Hillside Cemetery in Reno, where over 30 Irish families are buried.
