February General Meeting - Northern Nevada Sons and Daughters of Erin

SADOE will hold its next General Meeting this Tuesday, Feb. 7 at Ryan’s Saloon, 924 S. Wells Ave in Reno. SADOE President Willie Puchert will do a another presentation on the 1923 Irish Civil War and discuss its legacy which affects Ireland today. We will also bring some materials for those of you who wish to make your own Brigid’s crosses

Please note: This will be a good background for our upcoming proposed movie gathering once the The Banshees of Inisherin, set in that era.

Irish Person Of The Year
SADOE Board Members Paul Beaton and Michael DelOstia have been nominated for Irish Person of the Year. Our bylaws dictate that the our membership approve these nominations at our upcoming meeting.

Board Elections
Another business item is to hold elections for our SADOE board members serving for the 2023-24 biennium. The following is the slate of nominees to be elected at the meeting:

Vice-President: Mike Steedman
Sgt at Arms: Gary Mulock
Leinster Director Seat: Michael DelOstia
Munster Director Seat: Missy Reinheimer
