The Sons & Daughters of Erin plans to host a Celtic-themed Steampunk Victorian Ball at Pipers Opera House on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2027 in Virginia City

The concept is derived from a series of Steampunk Victorian Balls held at Piper’s Opera House from 2011 until 2015 by local cosplay enthusiasts.

A steering committee made up of SADOE members, Virginia City tourism officials and business owners are planning an evening event around historical and similar themed activities throughout the weekend.

SADOE  plans to have Celtic entertainment perform throughout the evening, contra dancing as well as vendors inside Piper’s Opera House.

SADOE also plans to partner with the Silver Queen Hotel for other events that weekend. Check this page for updates.
