SADOE will resume its General Meetings at a new location which is the Reno Fox Brewpub in Midtown Reno. Social hour is at 6 pm. Meeting will begin at 6:30 pm. UNR Emirtus Professor and SADOE Member Howard Goldbaum will give a presentation named,”Hidden Treasures: From the Ardagh Chalice to the Book of Kells, ” which is one of the most cherished objects in Ireland.

The meeting will be on the second floor which requires climbing stairs. (Please call SADOE President Willie Puchert at 775-378-0931 prior to the meeting if you will need assistance. Restrooms are located on the ground floor.

Fox Brewpub has menu that pub favorites which includes cottage pie (shepherd’s pie) and the lamb burger which was offered at the restaurant’s older incarnation, The Silver Peak.

There will be a dedicated food server for our party.

Fox owner Jim Phalen has been very supportive of our Celtic community hosting events at both his Reno and Carson City locations. SADOE Director Doyle Stewert and other Celtic performers play frequently on Fridays at the Reno Fox Brewery.
